Anime thoughts:

Naruto - I've begun to catch up on Naruto.  It's nice to see Sakura's fight with Sasori animated.  The music is so freaking epic.  I can't wait for the Shippuden's first OST to be released.  The pacing, though, is exactly as what most people have been saying.  It's damn slow.  I'm glad I waited this long to watch them.

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - I decided to finally watch this after reading a hentai doujin and a post about how hot blooded this anime was.  Yoko is pretty awesome, and the entire anime has been great so far.

Shana Second - Bah.  Yuji didn't hear Shana's confession.  It was a pretty boring episode, but hearing Shana whine "shut up" was nostalgic.  I don't know if I'll be up to date with watching this one all the way through.

Gundam 00 - It was going good until that video aired at the end.  Seeing aggressive pacifists ticks me off.  I had my fill of pacifists in the Cosmic Era world.  I really like the new Gundams, but only a few of the girls seem nice.  The series has a lot of work ahead of it to win me over.

Manga thoughts:

Naruto - Forgot to talk about Naruto last week.  Business has also picked up here.  Finally.  All the Akatsuki members have now been revealed.  The top members being intertwined with Jiraiya in the past is making it a pretty good story again.  Also, Konan is <3.  Can this one live and become good?  Please Kishimoto?  >_>

School Rumble - I'm waiting on a full English scanlation, but the spoiler picture I've seen is just damn awful.  Yakumo kisses Harima, and Eri is there to witness it.  >_<

Gaming thoughts:

I love my PSP!  I haven't gotten very far in Crisis Core, but it's pretty fun.  The way they implemented materia is a bit cumbersome.  What I use it most for is watching anime, movies, and TV shows.  The DS was nice introduction of watching things, but the PSP's bigger and wider screen is just so freaking sweet.

Anime thoughts:

School Days - After a small media scare, the last episode was shown and was subbed.  With the last episode, the winner here is most definitely Kotonoha.  Sekai was the real phsyco bitch, and I'm happy to see her and Makoto bite the dust.  This is the most satisfying ending to an anime in a very long time.

History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi - Another anime I was sad to see end.  The last episode was alright, but I really would have liked to see more about the back stories of the all the Masters.  I guess it's time to catch up on what's scanlated of this manga now.

Lovely Complex - I watched the first episode of this on a whim after reading a short description about it.  I was instantly hooked.  Koizumi Risa is another tsundere I really just love.  As the anime progressed, I really loved how her hair styles would change.

The next anime I plan on watching since they are now complete:  Lucky Star and Darker than Black.

One Piece dub - While at the One Piece panel they said they were making new songs, they have actually dubbed the original opening and endings songs!  The dub is also off to a good start.  I'll need to hear some of the badass lines before I really approve of the new voice actors.  It's really nice that Sanji and Robin don't have those stupid accents anymore.

Geneon - Holy shit!  This just fucking sucks balls.  They're closing their DVD distribution department.  It appears Fate/Stay Night will be able to be fully released before they actually close up shop, but it's really sad to see a good company like Geneon being forced to close it doors at some CEO's whim.  Sad day for the good anime fans who actually buy their anime.

Manga thoughts:

One Piece - Business has picked up.  Two Shibukais (interacting with the Strawhats) in one arc!

Bleach - Business has picked up.  Nel pulling a "Yoruichi" was a little surprise, but her being a former Espada was damn shocking.

Air Gear - Singing regalia.  Oh Great!  Seriously though, I really hope Ikki's team can still beat the crap out of the White Wolves even after Kururu's super tuning.  Go Hurricane King!  (I still really love this title.)

School Rumble - Harima finally gets another chance at trying to get Tenma's feelings, but Yakumo stops him!  I can't decide whether it's a good thing or bad.  Oudou was stopped, but it was at the cost of advancement for Riceball.  Damn it Eri!  Where are you?!  >_<

Other thoughts:

House - Cameron with blonde hair is icky.  Not good looking at all.  Awesome start to the season though.

Optimus Primes - Simca can't stand on her own anymore and has been put away.  In it's place, I've placed the movie version of Optimus (in vehicle mode; voyager class) where she used to be and riding on his back is my Revoltech Optimus.  It's actually pretty awesome looking.  I'll try to post pics next time.

Arrr!  Me treasure has come.  Tis' Crisis Core bundle!  (My bit for today's "Pirate speak day.")

So it finally arrived.  After playing with it a little, I suddenly realized that I'm really a huge fan(boy) of Sony.  I love my DS, but the moment Crisis Core went from the FMV to in-game mode, I witnessed the great power of the PSP.

Speaking of the DS, I did indeed finish Phoenix Wright 3 after my last post.  That last case was packed with greatness.  I was never a fan of the Phoenix X Maya relationship, and I was very pleased with the Iris/Dahlia twist.  It's too bad Gyakuten Saiban 4 didn't have Phoenix stay with Iris.

Random thoughts:

In the picture above are my new PSP, iPod 5.5, and my gold chain with my new pendant.  The iPod was merely for size reference to the PSP.  The pendant is something new I wanted to talk about.  I've been wearing that chain for a long time.  I've gone through a ton of pendants.  First was a claw that was allegedly from a real tiger.  I stopped wearing that because it just didn't feel right.  Then I wore a Buddha for a while, and I stopped wearing that because I didn't believe in him anymore.  I got a jade tiger pendant next.  It's a nice pendant.  I wore it for quite a while.  Kingdom Hearts then came out and a pendant was made soon after.  I simply fell in love with it and wore it utill it got worn down and broke.  I bought two more and wore those until they got worn down and broke too.  Then I tried some new pendants from the Kingdom Hearts series:  the Oblivion and Oathkeeper keyblades.  The Oblivion pendant looked really nice and professional, but it was just as cheaply made as the Crown pendant was.  The Oathkeeper looks good in photos, but it really is just a piece of crap.  Both of those pendants were worn for less than a month before breaking.  I wore my chain pendant-less for a little while.  I finally found this new pendant through an e-mail thing I signed up with BigBadToystore.com.  I first found them when I was searching for Revy and Optimus Prime Revoltech figures.  I now regulary visit to see new products they tell me about through e-mails.  One such product was the Captain Hector Barbossa pendant.  I've always like Barbossa's character, but I don't ever remember seeing this pendant shown.  I like the design anyways and I decided to try this out.  After all, it was only $9.99.  I had paid around $20 for each of the Kingdom Hearts crowns.  This was an easy gamble, and right now, it's the best one yet.  This piece of jewelry is very well made.  I've had it for a month now, and it looks exactly like when I first opened it.  The had expected the red jewel to have fallen out by now, but it's holding and it doesn't look like it'll be loosening up anytime soon.

Holy shit at the new iPod Classic.  30 hour play time!  God dammit!  I need to get one of these when my credit is under control. >_>

However, I'm glad at the moment for owning the one I do now.  On one of those 12+ hour days of work I had, my iPod died and on my way home, I had to listen to KROQ on the way home.  Because of this, I listened to Paramore's Misery Business for the first time.  I really love this song.  The lyrics paint a picture of a girl I'd love to be with.  I also heard Knights of Cydonia on KROQ too.  I always meant to get this, but I just kept putting it off.  With these two songs, I just had to get them and their albums.  Muse is alright.  Paramore is really awesome.

I've been promising new pics, and I'm finally delivering:

Black Saber - Revoltech

Modern Batgirl - DC Superheroes

Batgirl is here temporarily.  This is normally Grievous and Buster Gundam's spot.  She needs to be moved, but I really don't want to spend time on rearranging my room at the moment.  >_>

Knights of the Round - Final Fantasy Master Creatures
Cagalli - RAH(I think) and Nami - Portrait Of Pirate

KotR came along with my order of Barbossa's pendant.  It's a nice little...thing.  It is also in a temporary position.  I pushed Cagalli back for it to be there.

A picture of the entire shelf area.  There's a gap between Black Saber and Cagalli/KotR.  This is where the regular Saber is supposed to be, but she won't stand up right now.  Even with the base, she just won't stay upright.  Next to Illiya is the One Piece thing I bought at AX 07.  It was one of the last boxes and the booth was the only place that had those.  I was really hoping to get Zoro's swords or the Going Merry with Luffy's hat.  But eh...whatever...pirate pride!  ARRR!

I...Hmm...This...

So I was browsing the usual forums I lurk and I come across a topic about Crisis Core's latest/last trailer before it gets released in Japan.  I watch it and I start to look into GameFAQs for some information about it's release date for the US.  I read and it says there's a limited edition.  I think "Cool.  Wonder what those lucky people in Japan get?"  I go into the board for that game and I find a link to a site who is amazingly still taking preorders for the limited edtion BUNDLE!  A BUNDLE?!  NEW SLIM PSP WITH A NICE LITTLE GRAPHIC!  Cloud.  Zack.  SEPHIROTH!  My brain hits the nostalgia overdrive button.  My mind races.  Five minutes later,  I've pre-ordered it.  This, of course, is before I read up on all things PSP.  So I went into this thinking that I would only be able to play Japanese games, and that I would have to deal with a Japanese language PSP.  While I'm glad about all the information I've read so far,  I still have to hope and hope that two things don't happen:

1.  YesAsia canceling my order.
2.  The PSP has no dead pixels upon arrival.

I'll post again in a day or two.  I plan on watching School Days 9 and finishing up Phoenix Wright 3.  Maybe spend some time in Ivalice too.

Anime/manga thoughts:

So I finally caught up with School Days.  Ito Makoto deserves a long painful death followed by an eternity of blue balls in hell.  Since my first swim into the anime culture, Ikari Shinji has been the most commonly labeled "loser" of all anime.  I wasn't one of those people.  I liked Shinji.  Shinji's actions were understandable.  I could relate.  However, Makoto is the biggest asswipe to ever grace the animated world.  I had read about his reputation after I finished the first episode.  I was coming in with a very open mind about him, but I must join the haters after witnessing his actions.  I want one of the bad endings to be animated with him being killed for the end of this anime.  Sekai is a slut, but I can't help but like her.  Kotonoha is exactly the kind of girl I love.  She's clinging onto Makoto even in the face of an affair.  Slowly turning into a desperate and psychotic girl, I love her for it.  Setsuna also has a charm to her, but ultimately I have to side with Kotonoha through this one.

Naruto (manga) got a bit interesting.  I had to suffer through a bit of Itachi and Sasuke, but the conversation between Jiraiya and Tsunade was well worth it.

Something I forgot to write about last time;  Fairytail is fucking awesome!  While I found Rave lacking, Fairytail started off with a major bang and kept going.  Natsu, Lucy, and Ezra are my favorites so far.  The story is almost as epic as One Piece.  Well above Bleach and Naruto.  Also, finally I have a "magic" type story that is actually "magic" I like.

Speaking of epic.  Air Gear is totally leading the field in epicness.  So Spitfire and Sano end up dead.  Sora, Sora, and Simca are in league still.  Kazu is made the new Flame King, and Ikki is shot out of the sky as Wind King.  Kazu finds a video Spitfire made before his death.  He gathers everyone that he can that was part of Ikki's AT career.  They all watch the video and Ikki gets out of his emo mode and starts looking at the sky again as the King of the Hurricane Road.  It was really a shonen cliché moment, but it was still an epic moment that brought me to a tear.  Add some Kururu moments here and there, and Air Gear is currently my favorite manga read of the moment.

Figure thoughts:

Too lazy to take pics for this, maybe next time.

Revoltech Saber - I was expecting a lot after posing Revy in mulitple positions.  When I got it, I was a bit disappointed actually.  The allotted movement on her shoulders, arms, and hands is not nearly enough as I wanted.  Her head is also too restricted for my taste (it can't look up).  Her skirt can also be annoying at times.

Revoltech Alter Saber - I thought this one would at least be a little bit better than the regular version.  I was wrong.  It has all the same disadvantages.  Even the head, which I thought might be able to look up further because there's no ribbon on this one to restrict it, but it still can't look up properly.  The only pro of this figure is that it is way cooler looking than the regular version.

DC Superheroes (Modern) Batgirl - This was a huge surprise to find since I didn't expect these to come in until some time in September.  I love it.  It doesn't have any wrist or hand joints, but the pose-ability of the rest of her arms and legs is pretty good.  It comes with a little diorama that actually is nice.  You just have to fold the card it comes with.  It's not something you have to cut out from the actual backing of the product.  It was a nice bonus.  The amount of detail is satisfactory.  The stitches in her mask are really the only disappointing part as they could look a lot better.

Simca PVC figure (Megahouse) - This is the one I bought at AX.  It's a nice figure, but the base that is supposed to hold the figure has broken.  I knew it might happen when I first put her on the base because it didn't look very good at all (the connecting points that is).  Her right skate connection to the base is the only one that actually goes into the figure, and it's only a little tiny pin-sized connection that is inserted between the wheels of her right skate. The left skate is just a mold of where the skates are supposed to be positioned.  It doesn't really hold it at all.  The figure itself is great.  The optional Tool Toul To hat is very nice and fits on her head without sliding off at all.   This figure has also perhaps the best styled hair of all my figures.

Gaming thoughts:

I bought an Elite Xbox 360 after listening to the Eternal Sonata OST.  After connecting it to Xbox live and playing the demo, I firmly believe I made the right choice in slapping down the cash for this.  I've made my choices this generation.  PS3 and Xbox 360.  Wii will never lay it's controllers on me.  >_>

The games I bought along with the console were Gears of War and Project Sylpheed.  Gears is fun, but I'm still having trouble adjusting to the "console" way of FPSing.  Sylpheed was crap and I'll be trading it in some time in the future.

I also recently picked up Dragon Quest VIII, against my hatred of any and all things with "dragons" on them.  It rekindled my love for turn based fighting systems.  I love the dub work on this and it's been fun so far.  I hate Angelo though.  Fucker is annoying.

I also finally picked up Final Fantasy XII.  I'm neutral at this point still.  The battle system isn't as bad as I thought, and all the characters I've met so far (except Vaan) have been good or great.  The License board thing is also pretty cool compared to whatever crap was in Final Fantasy X.  I've hated Vaan's character since I first laid eyes upon him, and nothing has changed so far.  What keeps it from being nice/good/great is the plot.  I'm still not digging it.  I'm going to need a lot more Ashe and Fran plot points/scenes to win me over.  >_>

Anime/manga thoughts:

This Sunday will be awesome when they finally animate the part in One Piece where all the Straw-hats get bounties on their heads.

I've been slacking on the anime front otherwise; I'm behind on Kenichi and School Days.  Naruto and Bleach continue to be non interesting for the moment.

Manga-wise, Suzuka decides to keep the baby after Yamato says he wants her to have it.  I don't really know what to make of it.  I'm pretty neutral on this manga right now.

Air Gear has picked up considerably.  Nike and Sora are twins.  I also spoiled myself when I was trying to look up some information on Nike.  Spitfire and Sano apparently die.  Fuck.

One Piece is kicking ass too.  The end to Usopp's fight was damn good, but what the hell is up with Zoro losing?!

Bleach is barely keeping me entertained.

School Rumble got awesome again, though it was at the cost of a Riceball chapter.  >_>
Nevertheless, Karasuma's plot point of leaving from the beginning of the series rears it's head finally.

Comic thoughts:

I picked up the Planet Hulk hardcover.  Best decision I've ever made.  It's an epic tale, and it makes me want to see the guilty Illuminates get fucked up even more.

Figure thoughts:

First up, this is an Sawachika Eri figure I bought from AX this year.  It's one of my favorite figures because it completely captures that "Flag" moment.  This is exactly the kind of figure I simply love.  As a bonus, the jacket and right arm can be removed and a different right arm piece is available to put on.  Her other right arm just holds onto her left arm.

This is also another figure I bought from AX this year.  This a a gashapon figure that was released a while ago, but I debated whether or not to get the set just for this figure.  Thankfully, a vendor at AX was selling this just by itself.  This is a figure that captures another one of my favorite moments in Naruto.  Sakura showing Ino that she can stand on her own now.  For such a small figure, I love the details they were able to put on this.  I actually love this figure a lot more than the Sakura DX figure I have.  The DX figure is twice the size and is more detailed, but it just doesn't have the epic feel behind it like this one.

I am eagerly awaiting the Ayu figure I posted about back in April.  I have that and a Tsuruya figure pre-ordered from Kid Nemo.  I also got in my Revoltech Black Saber figure which I will review next time.

Anime Expo 2007 photos:

Alrighty, here are some of my favorite pictures from this year's AX:

This was simply awesome in everyway.  The pose, the lighting, the angle, and the position.  All perfect.

This was great because of the Lisa cosplay.  At least I think it's Lisa. >_>

Incredibly cute picture.  The Pakkun on Sakura's shoulder was adorable.

Great Ace was cosplay.

Digimon cosplay!

Saber with Lion plushie.

Spartans at AX?  Madness!

Sexy Spartan and sexy Sakura.

The entire Straw-hat crew plus a Marine.  They won Best of Show at Masquerade.

Alright, all previous photos were taken by my cousin, the Domo Photographer.  You may visit him at http://reddrakekai.deviantart.com/

All the following photos were taken by me:

That is one very cute Ashely.

Right place at the right time.

This person counted me as only the second(IIRC) to take their photo.  Hope more people got this awesome FFIX cosplay.

<3
(No Kururu anywhere though. ;_;)

My cousin got him too, but this one is more clear.

The only pic I got of this Yuna all weekend.

Picutre of the inside of my van on the last day.  That's three people's worth of crap.

Picture of all my stuff from this year.  Three things not shown though.  The Sakura gashapon, a Shikamaru gashapon, and a Buggy "Captain/Ship Mast thing".  Image is NWS, but I really shouldn't even have to say that.  =P

Lastly, I am formally announcing that I have a Deviant Art account. I just uploaded a new drawing today.  Click here to go there.  I will not be linking back from there to here though.

Anime Expo 2007 thoughts:

This year, I'm forgoing the normal AX report I write up.  This time I'll just babble for a couple paragraphs.

First, the site the AX hotel block used to book rooms fucked up and our Westin reservation was one of fifty rooms selected to be moved because they overbooked.  The hotel we were moved to was in LA.  Shit.  Thankfully, another hotel was provided and it was just in San Pedro.  It was a nice room.

Badge (holder) pickup was pretty smooth.  Picking up Premier tickets for the SOS concert (and Masquerade), however, was incredibly close.  I was able to pick the tickets up right before they closed up shop.

First day highlights were the SOS panel and AMV contest.  I actually waited in the wrong area for the panel for a while and a few poor souls got trapped there with me.  Walking quickly to the correct line, I was still able to get in.  It was almost filled completely.  Some interesting things to come up in the panel:

Aya's favorite character was Tsuruya. (XD)
Yuko's favorite character was Kyon. (Aww.)
Aya sung Cha La (ala Lucky Star).  (Fanboygasm!)
One guy asked advice from Aya about voice acting and if she would be his friend.  Aya responded and told him if he worked hard at it and he becomes a voice actor for an anime she works on, then she would be his friend.  (O.W.N.E.D....to the extreme!  XFD)

AMV contest was a deja vu moment for me.  Once we got in and seated, the announcement came.  3/4 of the video contest was lost and unavailable to show.  Talk about fucking up.  I mean I understand what happened, and I'm not really mad at the staff for it.  It's just hilarious to me that I didn't foresee this.  My cousin and I had an entry, and even though we didn't make the semi-finals, our video would have probably been shown had we had a DVD on hand(It was on my iPod, but they declined to use it.).

Second day highlight was the SOS concert.  I was a little sad that I couldn't attend the Death Note panel or the Eisuke Inoue panel.  Waiting for the concert to start was a very long process.  It started way late, but still, it was totally worth it.  I had a seat in the second row and right in the middle.  The people next to me were good(not obese or smelly).   From what I could hear from the warm-ups, they were missing the "left" audio because I couldn't hear the main guitar riff from the beginning of God Knows.  The concert was very enjoyable, and it ranks as the second best concert I've ever been to(First is Nobou Uematsu's More Friends concert).  While most people were waiting for them to sing God Knows or Hare Hare Yukai, I was geeking out when Aya started singing Lost My Music.  That song is <3.

Third day highlights were missing the One Piece panel for nothing, and a very generic Masquerade.  The day before, SOS were supposed to have a signing, but that was cancelled and it was said that it was to be for today.  This meant I had to miss the One Piece panel if I wanted an autograph.  I gambled, and I lost badly.  When the signing was about to start, they told us that they were only willing to sign official posters and nothing else and that they would only do a certain amount of autographs(I forgot if they said 100 or 50.).  No exceptions.  I didn't arrive early enough so I was out of luck.  No signing of my limited edition DVD box.  The rest of day was spent wandering the exhibition hall.  We then waited for the Masquerade to start.  I had a front row seat on the right side.  To my left, was an obese otaku with a camera.  Another deja vu moment bringing me back to AX 03 Masquerade.  To my right however, was a sexy cosplayer.  The fatty was pushing me onto her so it wasn't that bad, but I felt bad for her because the other person next to her was another fatty.  Most of skits sucked.  About two or three were funny, but nothing incredibly epic.  At the very end though, I had another fanboygasm when the Best of Show group did a special pose to end the show.  They were a One Piece group, and they stood on the front of the stage with their backs to us and their arms raised.  The goodbye to Vivi moment.  Fucking epic!  ;_;

Last day highlight was me winning the sketch of Zoro at the charity auction.  I wanted the Sanji sketch too, but he isn't worth it as much as this sketch of Zoro with his bandanna on and sword in mouth.  I love it, and it was well worth it.  Shocker of an announcement at closing ceremonies though.  Next AX is at the LA convention center.  I fear for all my fellow otaku and weeaboos.  With the events that go on into the night, those who want to attend these events are in grave danger once they leave the premises.  I may not be attending next year's AX due to personal reasons(Comic Con 08 here I come!).  God speed to those who venture into LA's night.  AX staffers better have the full support of the LAPD in protecting these people.

 Anime/manga thoughts:

I heard something about School Days, and it warranted me to download it last night.  I just finished watching it.  Damn it!  Why do I have to like these kinds of things!  School Days is <3.

One Piece's latest chapter was very fucking epic.  Sanji vs Absalom.  I knew when Nami was shown in a wedding dress, that once Sanji saw her, he would kick the living shit out of Absalom.  You just don't fuck with the ladies of the Strawhat crew like that.  I hope Sanji makes him beg for forgiveness and gives him a swift kick of death.

In the anime however, they have started filler.  Once again, they tease me by not showing the new bounties already.  Then there's the reveal of the Thousand Sunny and Usopp manning up and apologizing.  So many great moments are being put on hold.  ;_;

Bleach (manga) has gotten slightly interesting when Orihime finally cheers on Ichigo.  I'm getting pumped again.  I want to see a kiss between those two somewhere near the end of this arc!

Naruto (manga) is fuck shit boring.  Fuck you Sasuke.  I don't want to see you fight.  Get this shit over with already!

I caught the Naruto dub last weekend.  They're at the part where Tsunade just decided to take the Hokage gig.  It was my first time hearing Tsunade's dub voice.  I'm very pleased.  Also very pleased with Naruto's voice actress's work when he was fighting with Kabuto.  Naruto's dubbing still has my seal of approval.

Favorite anime moments of the moment:

Watching the first episode of School Days brought back a lot of memories of different moments across a dozen anime.  In honor of the title of the first episode, I'd like to reminisce about a couple of "confession" scenes.

Air Gear manga:  Ikki's moment of clarity when Kazu told him to calm down and think of who he really likes.  It turns out that neither Simca nor Ringo is in his heart.  It's Kururu.
Aww level: <3 <3 <3 <3

School Rumble:  Harima runs.  Harima grabs.  Harima confesses.  It's Eri.
Aww level: <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

Ichigo 100% manga:  Nishino runs into a park.  She stops under the pull-up bars.  She jumps and with all her strength pulls her head up and over the bar while confessing to wanting to be with Manaka again.  This is the mother of all epic confessions.
Aww level: <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

That's all from this post.  If all goes well, I'll have a photo review of AX 07 and/or figure reviews of the stuff I got from this year's AX.  My AX 07 photos are up, but I'm not linking to it just yet.  If you're not stupid, you can easily figure out how to see them.  Domo-kun Photographer will be spotlighted next time!  =P

Misc thoughts:

I have a number of lists.  Favorite anime, fav. anime moments, songs, characters, etc.  The one list I hate adding to is the one I have of favorite people who have passed on.  Ritsuko Okazaki was the first person that I was sad to know that she was no longer in this world.  Steve Irwin was equally as saddening when I found out about him.  I am very sad that I have to add Chris Benoit to this list.  All of them helped me be who I am today through each of their own mediums.  The circumstances around his and his family's death ultimately won't matter to me; whatever the outcome.  I will miss him and I will always remember him.

Comic thoughts:

World War Hulk - Awesome.  Incredibly awesome.  Go Hulk!  Smash 'em!  Smash 'em all! (Except Emma.  Leave her out of this.  >_>)

Countdown - I am loving this so much more than 52.  Red Hood and Mary Marvel being central figures is fun to read.  Jimmy Olsen...not so much.  Kill him already.  Gimme more Todd and Marvel!

Anime/manga thoughts:

Eh.  Not much super great things going on.  Naruto is meh with it's fighting.  Bleach equally so.  One Piece is slowly getting there, but not right now.  Suzuka pregnant?  Uuuh, okay....

Air Gear's latest scanlation was pretty much the one great thing going on.  Ikki meeting with Sleeping Forest in the Trohpaeum Tower.  Great moment, but I still want to see Mikan's skill in an AT battle already!

Movie thoughts:

300 - Pretty good.  My own hatred of the "manly man" makes me have a slight dislike of the themes.

Transformers - Still not impressed.  I want this movie to be good, but I'm still expecting the worst.

Iron Man - Seeing that first teaser image of the prototype suit made me cream my pants.  I want this movie already.

Manga thoughts:

Bleach - Ichigo lose?  I thought Tite might cop out and actually have someone show up to save the day, but wow.  Also, Ulquiorra being number 4 was damn frightening.  Still want to see Lisa!

Naruto - Fucking Sasuke.  I read the fake spoilers and real spoilers until they had that small part back in Konoha.  Will continue to read the fake spoilers and real spoilers posted on message boards until main focus is off of the emo fag.

One Piece - Might be seeing some more Luffy vs a Shichibukai soon has warmed me to this arc a little more.

Suzuka - Yay!  They had sex.  No full frontal Suzuka nudity though.  >_>

School Rumble - Boring.  Hanai-Togo story is so incredibly boring.  Harima.  Now!

Anime thoughts:

Naruto - I love it.  The music has also returned to the awesomeness that it first had in the very beginning of the series.

Bleach - Lisa!  Lisa!  Lisa!!

One Piece - Still awesome.  Hopefully they won't add too much filler to put off the big reveal coming up.

American One Piece - FUNIMATION HAS ONE PIECE LICENSE.  THEY WILL BE USING NEW VOICE CAST, RELEASING UNEDITED DVDS, and they'll still be airing new episodes on Cartoon Network.  GOD FUCKING YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!   FUCK YOU 4KIDS.  One Piece will finally get what it deserved in the first place.  So happy!  b;_;b

Claymore - Eh.  I'll watch the second episode, but I'll drop it if nothing super fun happens.

Comic thoughts:

Teen Titans - New art is good for the most part, but the girls are less sexy now.  I really hope Raven's invitation to Duela was real and not just using her to beat Deathstroke's Titans.  She would definitely be an interesting member to add.  Risk knocking out Batgirl was just stupid though.  That should've been handled a lot better.

Justice League of America - Yay for Red Arrow.

New Avengers - The part at Rand Corp. was great.

Avengers:  The Initiative - Great to see War Machine back in (somewhat) action.  Cloud9 looks like a cute character.  I was also impressed when MVP was killed.  Super impressed with this issue and it looks like a new regular for me.

The Confession - Some of the best dialogue I've ever read.

Upcoming comic releases - DC is about to bring me back on their side again with World War III.  I am most interested in the WWIII Part 2:  The Valiant because of Batgirl on the cover.

Figure thoughts:

Introducing a new review section.  First up:  Ravager

The one thing I would've changed about this figure would be the red eye shade.  It should be white.  Other than that, it has a great pose, a nice base, and really nice details.  Well, actually, there's another thing I would've liked.  If it had two swords and had a sheath on her back, but that's really just nitpicking 'cause of the current comic design.  I would love an un-masked figure of her.

Figure in the making:

WANT!  SO FUCKING WANT!

<3 Tsuruya

Aeon Clock is badass, but not enough to keep Tsuruya from becoming the next wallpaper.

Movie thought:

Black Snake Moan - First awesome movie of 2007.  Found some time to go out and see this today, and it has gave me a great deal of motivation to do stuff.

Manga thoughts:

Bleach - Kaien eh?  Epic-ness just isn't there.

Naruto - Fucking Sasuke.  Halfway through chapter 344, I decided to stop reading until Sasuke's fight with Orochimaru was over.  Then the fucking end had to go into flashback mode.  If the flashback is a lengthy one I'll have to keep reading it because Sannin history is just too interesting to skip over.  Still, Sasuke is leaving a horribly bad aftertaste. *spits*

Anime thoughts:

Naruto - Oh god. Finally.  Time skip is a go.  Shin Sakura animated: check.  Shin Ino animated: waiting.

Kanon - Ayu kiss!  Uguu~

Comic thoughts:

52 - Steel vs Luthor.  10/10

Teen Titans - Deathstroke hinting at having a hand in Cassandra's mood change gave me a small hope.  Still, I feel very uneasy about how it'll play out.  ;_;

Manga thoughts:

One Piece - Eeeeeeh.  This arc isn't looking to be very entertaining at the moment.  It's definitely manga filler, ala Foxy Arc, but I don't feel the awesome yet.

Air Gear - After reading chapter 131.  I had the incredible urge to go and get all the volumes of the manga currently available at Kinokuniya.  I went and got those two days ago.  Along with some other stuff.  I must say, I was absolutely blown away with the Ikki vs. Ringo fight.  Honestly, I didn't think Oh! Great would have them collide this soon.  This fight ranks highly among my favorite anime/manga fights.

My favorite Air Gear characters:

Simca - <3  my precious migratory bird.
Kururu - So sweet and innocent.  Amazing skills.  Did an upgrade to Ikki's ATs in mid-air during his battle with Ringo.
Mikan - Sexy tomboy.  I so badly want to see her AT skills in full force against someone.
Sano - Mr. Aeon Clock.  Cool presence and most stylish ATs in my opinion.
Benkei - Trident's most awesome general.

Misc. thoughts:

Will I start it?  Can I really do this?  My final card will be played...when?

Anime thoughts:

Kanon 06 - Has gone significantly above and beyond.  Real contender for the a top permanent spot on my favorites.

Death Note - Epic writing.  Epic eating.  Epic tennis.  Epic hugging.  Fucking epic.

Bleach - Filler is over.  Isshin's shinigami form finally animated.  Only a matter of time before Lisa is animated in all her pervy gloriness. ^_^

The Meloncholy of Haruhi Suzumiya - Haruhism finally hit me like a freight train.  All hail Haruhi!

Comic thoughts:

Civil War - Waiting on the final issue.  World War Hulk a go go.

Teen Titans - I'm afraid of what I'm going to see tomorrow when I pick up the first issue of the Titans East story.  >_>

Manga thoughts:

Naruto - Shikamaru smoking = badass.

One Piece - Skeleton joining the crew?  If it happens, Oda will have broken yet another layer of normal shounen laws.

Bleach - Boring so far.  Chad's reveal of his powers rooted in hollow origin was a little interesting.

School Rumble - Flag has over powered Rice.  Oudou is slowly showing strength, but will it last?

Suzuka - <3 Suzuka.

Tenjho Tenge - Masataka gets spotlighted a bit more.  The school tournament thing is finally underway.

Gaming thoughts:

1/15/07 - My orc hunter, created at launch, finally hit 60.

Burning Crusade - It's WoW, same great fun.

Bought a PS3.  No good games so far.  I've decided against getting the Wii.  Instead, I'm opting to support the X-Box 360 and PS3 this generation.
