Birthplace: Icicle Inn
Blood Type: O

Bio: Daughter of Prof. Gast and Infala, Aerith is the very last Cetra alive.  Professor Gast fell in love with the last Cetra of his time.  He had a daughter with her, Aerith.  Gast did some documentaries on the Cetra, Weapon, and Jenova.  All of it was told by Infala.  Shortly after Aerith was born, Hojo came to take Gast and forced him to work with him on the Jenova Project.  Infala barely escaped and was able to go all the way to Midgar.  There she found a women, Elmyra, and left Aerith to her.  Infala then died.

Elmyra was waiting for her husband to return at the station at the time.  One day Aerith told Elmyra that someone close to her had died.  She didn't believe it until days later when she received a letter.  The letter said that her husband had died.  Sometime later, Shinra tried to get Aerith because they thought she was the last Ancient alive.  Aerith and Elmyra denied it and was able to go on.

Aerith during this time got a boyfriend, Zack.  The amount of time they spent together is unknown.  When Aerith grows up, she is a flower seller.  She meets Cloud after his first mission and sees him again when he crashes down through the church onto her flower-bed.  From there, Cloud escorts Aerith home and she says that his payment for it will be a date.  Cloud rests for a little bit at Elmyra's house.  He sneaks out and tries to leave Aerith behind, but she shows up before he can get out of the area.  They get to the entrance of Sector 7 and they see Tifa being taken somewhere.  They find out she's going to Don Corneo's mansion.  To get inside, Aerith makes Cloud go around Wall Market to get stuff to make him look like a girl.  Don Corneo's guard is fooled by Cloud's cross-dressing and they get inside.  They find Tifa and they all extract information from Don Corneo.

Aerith follows Cloud around until they have to get to Sector 7 Pillar.  There, Tifa tells Aerith to get Marlene and bring her somewhere safe.  Aerith brings her to her house, but is kidnapped.  She is rescued just as Hojo was trying to get Red XIII to mate with her.  They are soon recaptured and imprisoned.  The next morning, they discover that their cells are unlocked and get out.  They find a huge blood trail and follow it up to President Shinra's office.  There, they find President Shinra dead with a Masamune in his back.  On balcony they meet Rufus who declares he is now the President of Shinra.  Aerith, Barret, and Red XIII head down the building first.  When Cloud and Tifa join them, they all escape Midgar and head to Kalm.

When they get to Gold Saucer the second time to get the keystone, Aerith has her date with Cloud.  After the events of the Temple of the Ancients, Aerith knows that only she can stop Meteor.  Aerith goes on her own and heads toward the City of the Ancients.  There, she prays to the planet to save the humans from Meteor.  Cloud catches up with her and he loses control of himself for a minute.  He almost kills Aerith, but he came to his senses.  Sephiroth then comes down and kills her.  Cloud brings her to the lake outside the underground crystal castle and lets her body float to the bottom of it.
