Kippei is given the responsibility of taking care of 5 year-old cousin, Yuzuyu.
When he goes to pick Yuzu up at pre-school, he finds that she ran off somewhere.  He finds her in a playground.  She is upset that she can't be with her mother.  Kippei consoles her and says he will make her rice balls.  Kokoro sees this from a distance.
Later that night, Yuzu goes into Kippei's room and sleeps there.

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - The first few minutes, I thought I was going to hate Kippei since I hate the "player" type characters.  Yuzu shows up and whips out some cuteness.  I was convinced to stay with this anime when the playground scene ended with Kokoro watching from far away.  I really like Kokoro's character.  ^_^

Kippei wakes up and makes an oversized rice ball for Yuzu.  Yuzu wakes up and goes to bathroom to brush her teeth.  She tells Satsuki that she's going to marry Kippei.  At lunch, Kippei ask some of the girls about their lunches.  He finds out that having just one rice ball isn't really a good lunch, and he gets depressed.  At the preschool, a kid laughs at Yuzu's lunch and she slaps him for it.  Kippei is laying down at the stairs and thinking about Yuzu.  A girl comes and wants some of Kippei's attention.  Kokoro sees him and tells him that one of the teachers wants to see him.  When Kippei goes to pick up Yuzu, he finds out that she hit some kid.  Yuzu starts crying and tries to explain about what happened.  Kippei kisses her forehead and makes her feel better. 

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - Another heart-warming episode.  Yuzu just keeps getting more and more adorable.

Yuzu draws a picture of Kippei and gives it to him.  He shows her some pictures of herself as a baby.  Kippei drops off Yuzu at the preschool.  He feels someone watching him there.  When he gets to his own school, another girl is trying to get his attention.  Kokoro and her friends watch from a distance.  Some girl runs into them and drops a picture a Kippei.  When Kippei greets the girls, they tell him about the girl who had his picture.  At preschool, Yuzu and Ken play in the sandbox.  She apologizes to Ken for slapping him yesterday.  Marika interrupts them and tries to alienate Yuzu.  Kippei is about to leave to pick up Yuzu when another girl bothers him.  She asks if he found a girl for himself and he just says yeah.  As Kippei arrives at the preschool, he saves Marika from falling.  She is completely surprised when he calls to Yuzu.  Marika yells at her mama to make her a older brother.  Kippei notices that Yuzu is depressed and decides to buy some caramel candy to cheer her up.  Yuzu's hat flies into the street and Kokoro shows up to save her from being hit by a car.  Yuzu tells Kokoro about her relation to Kippei.  Kippei gives her the candy and she cheers up a bit.  She's still a little depressed, and Kippei picks her up and says that he will be with her until her mama comes back.

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - Looks like Kippei has a stalker.  I hear she's going to do something really bad in the upcoming episodes.  The episode was another good one.  Kokoro finds out about Yuzu.  Learning from my Naruto and One Piece experiences,  I prefer watching to see what happens in the anime and then going back later and reading the manga.  I hope to see Kokoro and Kippei's relationship pick up some steam soon.

Kippei's sister braids Yuzu's hair.  Kippei packages Yuzu's lunch in her scarf and she gets pissed.  They leave before she can get her hands on him.  As they leave, the creepy girl is shown watching them.  When Kippei and Yuzu are walking home, Yuzu suddenly wants to pick flowers.  Kippei gets a call from his sister to pick up some groceries.  Kippei leaves Yuzu by herself to go buy stuff.  The creepy girl comes and tells Yuzu that everyone hates her and throws her crayons into the trash.  Kokoro shows up and makes her leave.  Kippei then shows up and doesn't understand what has happened.  The next day, Yuzu wakes up and is worried that everyone has left.  She finds everyone in the kitchen and is relieved for the moment.  At school Kippei asks Kokoro if she knows about what happened since Yuzu is acting strange.  Back at home, he asks his sister for some advice.  They end up fighting and Yuzu leaves the house.  Satsuki tells Kippei that Yuzu left the house and he goes after her.  Yuzu is at a store staring at a pack of crayons.  Kippei finds her and walks her home.  Kippei tries to tell her what she did at the store wasn't right.  Yuzu starts crying and tries to explain.  Kippei consoles her and wonders what happened to her.

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - Creepy girl must suffer!

Kippei's sister invites him to her room and talk about Yuzu.  Kippei starts to cry.  She tells him that he has to notice her pain and that he is all Yuzu has.  Kippei gives Yuzu her lunch tells her to eat a lot.  At school, he reads "How to Raise a Girl."  He asks the girls what kind of situations would make them depressed.  Their answers don't help his situation.  The creepy girl sees that he is absorbed in thinking about Yuzu and she doesn't like it one bit.  At preschool, Yuzu thinks about when Kippei will pick her up.  When school ends, Kippei runs toward the preschool, but an old lady needs his help and takes up his time.  When preschool ends, Yuzu notices that Kippei is late.  She sees a guy that looks like Kippei pass and runs towards him.  Then the creepy girl shows up behind her.  Kippei receives takoyaki as a reward from the old lady and runs to the preschool.  The creepy girl towers over Yuzu as she falls back scared.  The creepy girl approaches her but Kippei arrives in time to keep her from touching Yuzu.  The girl runs off when he ask if she was the one that has been harassing Yuzu.  The next day Kippei starts asking people if they know who the girl is.  Kokoro grabs him and tells him her name and class.  He goes to the class and asks to speak with her.  She confesses her love and why she did those things.  Kippei says he can't return her feelings and asks her to stop harassing Yuzu.  She tells him to tell her that she's sorry.  Kippei sees her to her class and notices that Kokoro is close by.  He gives her a hug and thanks her.  She pinches his cheek for calling her "Kokoro-chin" and says he was serious.  As she walks away, Kippei sees her smile for a second and tells her that she looks really cute smiling.  At home, Yuzu find Kippei sleeping on the floor and wakes him up.  She tells him she found crayons in her bag, and rubs her eye.  Kippei tells her to go to sleep and they both fall asleep.

Shoju's Rating: 8.5/10 - Kokoro's smile is the best!  ^_^
Kippei handled that girl okay, but I would have liked to see him at least slap her.

At preschool, Marika calls Yuzu an attention-grabber because she wears a different uniform than the rest of them.  Ken tries to defend her, but Marika tell him to shut up.  Kippei goes inside a store and buys some things for Yuzu's lunches.  He meets up with Satsuki and he helps Kippei with which hamburger meat to buy.  They both go pick her up at preschool.  Satsuki notices that Yuzu's uniform is different than everyone elses.  Yuzu acts a little depressed when they get home.  Satsuki then tells Reiko about Yuzu's uniform.  She gets pissed and then gets in Kippei's face.  They talk about it at the dinner table and Reiko decides to buy her a uniform even if Yuzu's mom comes back soon.  The next day Yuzu doesn't want to wear the new uniform and Kippei lets her wear the old one.  When Reiko sees her, she wonders why Yuzu wouldn't wear her new uniform.  Kippei tells her that Yuzu said she wanted to wear her old uniform.  Kippei ask why she wouldn't wear her old uniform, but she doesn't answer.  At his school, he tries asking Kokoro's friends.  They end up suggesting that the uniform might hold sentimental value.  Kippei ask again about her uniform after he picks her up.  Yuzu tells him that her mom bought it for her and that she can only find her if she wears that uniform.  Kippei tells her that her mom will always know where Yuzu is no matter what and convinces her to start wearing her new uniform.  At work, Reiko is still depressed about Yuzu not wearing the uniform she bought for her.  When she comes home, she sees that Yuzu is wearing her new uniform.  Kippei then ask Reiko to give her a bath since she won't listen to him.  Reiko lures Yuzu by telling her that she's going to have a bubble bath.  After the bath Yuzu and Reiko chug down juice and beer respectively.

Shoju's Rating: 7/10 - Yuzu is as cute as ever, but there wasn't much Kokoro action.
