Boooooooooooooooo!(The second coming.)

Even if Sephiroth did lose to Link, I hope Link kicks Mario's ass.

In other news, I would not have thought that I would have wanted anything to do with the game Kingdom Hearts because of the Disney characters.  However, the announcement of Sephiroth being in the game got me interested.  When I found out who was voicing him, I was disgusted.  Finally, I found out about the scene at the end of the credits with Cloud and Aerith and I was hooked.  I have seen a pic of the scene, but I still want to see for myself.

I think I might be able to put up my pics of AX stuff on Monday.  Also, I'd like to plug a trade.  If you have cosplay hentai movies, I am willing to trade any of the anime I have for it.  Contact me ASAP for more info.  BTW, I already have Chun-Li(Street Fighter), Riona(sp?-FF8), Asuka(Evangelion), and Rikku(FF10). =P

Nothing better to do...

GameFAQs Summer Character Battle.  I voted Crono in a 'revenge' vote against Mario, but I know Mario will still win. I'm voting Sephiroth when his battle comes up.  Sephiroth vs. Link will be a very close one.  I got nothing to do.  Well, I don't feel like doing anything.  Last time I checked, my poll is up at 15 votes.  Just 5 more votes, and I will write up those reviews.  It's funny that my Chobits page is the most visited of my anime pages, and yet there is 1 vote for it.  Meh.

Cloud lost to Mario.  Not a huge let down.  WWF not letting the UnAmericans burn the United States' flag.  HUGE let down.  They were in New York and they were so close to doing it.  For those who are huge idiots, burning 'our' U.S. flag is not illegal.  In fact, there was a Supreme Court case years ago that deemed burning the flag or U.S. currency legal.  I was sooooo looking forward to seeing the reaction of the over-sensitive people in crowd.  Watching morons once in a while, is fun.  Anyways, eliminating the Hardcore belt was simply wrong.  It was okay if when they eliminated the European title, but the Hardcore belt should have been kept.  4 single belts aren't enough.  Tag Team matches are great, but better matches come from solo wins(IMO).  Since the Women's Championship doesn't interest me at all, there are really 3 belts for certain individuals to be going for.  Matches without an incentive aren't very exciting.  Someone on the Pro Wrestling board of GameFAQs made a prediction that soon, Bischoff would lose all the titles and resurrect WCW and their titles.  I think that if they are heading towards that direction, it would be fine.  On another note, Kane's return was very disappointing.  It wasn't that he was the one who ruined the flag burning, but what about the things that are said in his video thing about the 'devil' and 'mistress'?  His new apparel is also very lame.  So far, he looks like the 'big red retard' to me. =P

Three 1 year things are/have coming/come up.  First was me becoming a fanboy to Ayumi Hamasaki.  The second is today marks one year of Gaea's existence.  The last would be coming up at end of Sept. - mid Oct.  It will be one year since I have used my 'Scorpion' philosophies/tactics in 'public.'  When the time comes, I will write an article about the exact events that transpired.  It should be an interesting read for those who like espionage/manipulation type things.

Also, my friend has finally developed photos of our Anime Expo experience.  Most of it is just of the stuff I bought.  I'll be scanning it and putting it up on Thursday or Friday.

Last note:  Vote Crono in a revenge vote against Mario. =P

Samus made a comeback and won over Sonic.  Will Sephiroth do the same?  I think so. =P  My Summer Slam predictions:

Brock Lesner over The Rock - The Rock is supposed to go shoot for a movie.
HBK over HHH - I hope, somehow, Mick Foley will appear and interfere to help HBK.
UnAmericans over Booker T and Goldust - If September weren't around the corner, I would have said Booker and Goldust.  I am looking forward to what the UnAmericans have to say about <begin sarcasm> the very sad day that is 9-11.</sarcasm>  It would be interesting if to see if they turn soft or they stay in character.
Chris Jericho over Ric Flair - *points to self* Jerichoholic. 'Nuff said.
Chris Benoit over RVD - I don't think they're going to make Smackdown an all cruiserweight show.
Rey Mysterio over Kurt Angle - Meh.
Undertaker over Test - Meh.
Edge over Eddie - Meh.

GameFAQs Contest: Sephiroth over Megaman - He may not be my god, but I still like this bad-ass.

Worst. Year. Ever.

Last year, my school year was very easy.  This year, I will receive repercussions ten fold for last year's good fortune.  I think the last things I will be happy about for a whole year will be discovering what a kick-ass girl Lafiel is.  Lafiel comes from the anime that is commonly known as Crest of the Stars.  I have watched the first two 13 episode seasons.  I will soon watch the last season, which contains only 10 episodes.  Lafiel is currently the best of the best of my favorite characters.  Back to my worst year thing.  I'd like to explain my short hypothesis of what I believe.  I think that everyone has one of a certain number of 'fates.'  The 'fate' that I have makes it so that for every good thing that happens to me, 2-4 bad things will happen to me.  This 'fate' is balanced throughout the year...usually.  This past year, good things definitely out weighed bad things.  I believe it has already started.  Earlier this morning, I had to go to pick up my schedule for this school year.  For English, I have a gay teacher.  I had to get my schedule changed so that they would take Spanish II off. I had hoped that when I dropped the class, the teacher for English would change.  My history teacher and my physics teacher changed, but not English.  This is truly a sign of things to come.  If I don't update at least once every two weeks, I can tell you that one of two things happened.  I either had my internet privileges taken, or I have died.  I think for my next article, I will explain in further detail about what I believe a few of the 'fates' are.  Expect me to bitch and whine a lot more than I do now in future updates.

On July 15, 2002, I put up my predictions of the division winner of the GameFAQs' Videogame Character Contest.  I can't believe I overlooked Cloud in the North Division and put Alucard as the division winner.  It may be a little late, but I know Cloud will win that division.  My predictions for Aeris and Scorpion, however, are most likely not going to happen.  I believe Sephiroth can take out Megaman though.

The 1 year mark for this shit-hole is coming up.  August 27.  I don't think I can do anything special.  I'm pretty much out of space for this site.  If someone can recommend a nice professional host that accepts my kind of content, let me know.

After watching G-On Riders episode 6, Sela and Yayoi are tied for being my favorite character from that series.  Also with this episode, it becomes apparent that they are a Sailor Moon clone.  The first of its kind(as far as I know).  In Chobits 20, Chii is kidnapped by some guy who says he is going to examine her...I hope he dismantles her. =P  I should see .hack//Sign 20 (maybe) tomorrow.  I should probably update my IRC instructions as #animeuniverse, from what I hear, no longer exist.  I have also put up a second article.  It is half finished.  I don't know when I'm going to finish it.  Probably when I feel bored during the school year. :(

G-On Riders is grabbing my attention more and more as I watch.  Episode 5 really got me into it after Yayoi went up close to Ichiro.  Pita Ten episode 16 introduced mini-Jura...um...I mean Misha's sister. =P  Needless to say, I totally dig Sasha.  The Ai Yori Aoshi preview for episode 15 looks like this episode will piss me off.  Saishu Heiki Kanojo, Witch Hunter Robin, and Samurai Deeper Kyo all continue on perfect 10s.  These 3 series have really caught my attention.  Unlike Tokyo Underground, Chobits, Ai Yori Aoshi, and Pita Ten.  These are fun to watch, but they don't grab my attention as much.  Well, Tokyo Underground does a little, but certain things make it a little lame.  Tokyo Underground has perhaps the best 'WHAT THE FUCK?  THE EPISODE IS OVER? NOOOOOOOOO!'  The last anime that did that to me was Ayashi no Ceres.

Anyways, in other news, I should be getting my upgrade to my DSL line pretty soon.  They are charging me the $100 a month, when I don't even have the service.  I will be resolving this on Monday.

Screw Bandai and Cartoon Network
Posted By: Shoju on August 8, 2002 1:15 A.M. (PST)

I had an interesting day at Six Flags Magic Mountain yesterday.  'X' was closed. :(

Anyway, Cartoon Network wants Sunrise to make another season of Cowboy Bebop.  This is fucking stupid.  If they made another season, it would be nice to see a continuation of the story, but these episodes would be forced ones.  I thought Evangelion had a fine ending.  The Evangelion Movie really didn't need to be made, but the out cry for it made the movie.  Cartoon Network can shine its boots up real nice, turn it sideways, and shove it up every fucking executive's hairy ass!  Cowboy Bebop has ended, and they need to go back to their Dexter, Scooby Doo, and the other real American shit.  Pioneer and ADV should offer a channel and show anime as it should be, dubbed right or subtitled.  Screw Bandai and their dubbing people.

Screw Bandai

X_X No, the time is not messed up.  I drank some strong ass coffee yesterday...Anyways, RAW was entertaining.  Triple H being the one who knocked HBK into the car window was a small let down, but it should have been expected.

It's August now, and this month marks one whole year since I became a fan of Ayumi Hamasaki.  Around this time, last year, I was looking around the Anime Boards on GameFAQs and found a thread about Japanese Pop stars.  I copied the list of people into a notepad and went searching on Audio Galaxy(Stupid backwards music industry!  You had to turn a very nice company into pile of shit!).  I downloaded a couple of songs from the first one on the list, Ayumi Hamasaki. =)  Then, I downloaded some Boa, Utada, and some others I can't remember.  I put all thirty-something songs on one playlist and listened to it for about two weeks.  I then started to delete songs, I didn't want to hear at the time, off the playlist.  Ayumi's songs were the last ones surviving.  I decided to go and download some more of her songs, as I got attached to 'End of the World' and 'Boys & Girls' very quickly.  Later, I found 'Evolution' and I was then declared addicted to Ayumi-sama.  Her songs are like nothing I've heard before.  When I listened to 'End of the World' the first time, I could feel something by the way she sang it.  It was my favorite song after listening to it twice.  When I saw the translation for the song, it was cemented into my favorite song of all time.  A year later, it still is.
I have to admit, the first pic I saw of her was a little bit of a turn off because her hair was dyed blonde.  Her eyes were the thing that helped me realize she really is pretty.  I soon found out that she was the best J-Pop star, according to sales, and I have spent over a $150 US on her merchandise.  I sadly only own 1 CD of hers, the 'Free and Easy' single.  I also have 1 life-size poster, 1 weekly calendar, 1 phone-strap, the 'Free and Easy' magazine, and the Uraayu picture book.  Ever since I was hooked, 'End of the World' has always ended up somewhere on every music CD I have burned(Around 20-30 CDs).  Even though I have heard 'End of the World' so many times, I have yet to memorize a single verse of the song.  I have not memorized any of the verses of any of the other songs either.  Very strange...X_X

I feel like I left something out.  O well, I'll update again when I think of it.

Screw Bandai...

If they dub Onegai Teacher like Cowboy Bebop or Escaflowne, I'll be fine.  If they dub it like Love Hina...

Anyways, tomorrow on RAW, if they are going to reveal who attacked HBK, I think it will be either Stone Cold or Goldberg.  RAW has been very good in the past weeks, and I'm sure it'll be fun to watch.

Well, I got done with my article early.  Because these are opinions, I will be only announcing updates of this section here.  Click here to read my thoughts about the current gaming world.

Looks like Aya is going to lose to the ape.  O well, Mario is going to beat whoever wins anyways.

GameFAQs Summer Contest Battle
Posted By: Shoju on August 3, 2002 12:20 A.M. (PST)

Wow!  Last time I looked at the results, Aya was winning.  For those who don't know what the fuck GameFAQs is, you should slap yourself and click here.  I am rooting for Aya to beat DK.  I've never played either of the Parasite Eve games, but I voted for her because the DK games I've played weren't very entertaining.  If you don't know, I'm not a huge fan of Nintendo. =P  In fact, I feel inspired to start writing my articles.  If DK is winning at some point tomorrow, expect a video game article sometime, late at night, tomorrow.

Now go vote in my poll!!!

Recaps are worth shit
Posted By: Shoju on August 2, 2002 4:40 P.M. (PST)

Tonight, .hack//Sign 14 is supposed to be released.  I'll write a review for it if someone post anything on my message board within 16 hours of this published update.

From the previews of Chobits 17, it looks like they are going to have another recap episode.  Also, I hear that .hack//Sign 15 is a recap.  Recaps in a period of less than 100 episodes is fucking messed up.  It's a total waste of an episode.  The Simpsons, they need clip shows every now and then, but anime in their 24-26 episode runs absolutely don't need any sort of thing like that.  If they want to do that, they should air a special or make an OVA.  Wasting a whole episode is just plain stupid!

Last note, RAW IS JERICHO again!!! =P
