I was just doing my usual lurking around the GameFAQs's Anime message board, when I saw a topic about a spoiler for Fruits Basket.  I couldn't resist the urge and went in.

The spoiler:  Akito is a girl!  O_O

All this time, I thought he was a fucked up bastard when he really was just a flat chested bitch.
This explains a whole lot about his and Shigure's behavior.

I also just finished watching the first episode of DearS.  The opening song is horrible.  I put off watching this because Chobits was a disappointment considering the premise was pretty good.  I already don't like the main couple of this series.  Hopefully, the pink-haired DearS will make it more interesting when she shows up.  The teacher is pretty funny though.

Kishimoto is really drawing out the Naruto vs. Sasuke fight.  -_-

In comparison, Usopp lost to Luffy after using a dial that hurt Usopp's arm.  The fight only took 2 chapters to do.  I wonder how Robin is going to feel about this.  Something I had hoped would happen was that Usopp's father and Shanks would've shown up and made things right.  I guess Usopp is really leaving now. ;_;

Nephrite and Ami are getting a little bit more closer now.  I really like this coupling a lot.  ^_^
Rei and Minako's bickering is "meh."  Poor Zoicite.  Why does he have to die like that? ;_;

I went out buying Anime stuff today around Little Tokyo and Santa Monica with a friend.  I picked up last week's Japanese Shounen Jump, GTO vol. 1 manga, D.N.Angel vol 3 manga, two Japanese Kanon manga, two Japanese Naruto manga, and an Utena mini-poster book.
Not a bad haul today.  While I was at Kamikaze Anime today, it was the first time I had been there since I turned 18.  Being 18 and all, I walk happily into the adult section.  There wasn't really anything impressive there.  A few bondage movies perked my interest a bit, but I ended up just getting the two Japanese Kanon manga(Non-hentai!) from the store.

I use emoticons a lot. -_-  I think I'll probably start inserting LUE fads sooner or later.

Knuckles pulled through and beat Kefka!  I lost a point because I picked Jak to win over Ness.  Again, I picked the a lower seed over a much higher one.  The next ones I'm worried over are Vivi vs. Donkey Kong and Ryu Hayabusa vs. Jill Valentine.  I picked Vivi over D.K., but I fear the FFIX fanbase doesn't have nearly enough love to put Vivi over.  I picked Jill over Ryu.  This one will most likely end up like the other high seed over lower seed matches where I picked the lower one.

I did way better than I thought I would have done on the Microsoft test last Friday.  Now I only have two left before I get my MSCE.

In the Naruto manga, Sasuke and Naruto finally have their Rasengan vs. Chidori battle.
In the One Piece manga, Usopp faces off against Luffy and is actually holding up well against him.  Both of the fights are great, but One Piece's fight has much more meaning to it than Naruto's.

In Naruto, I think these things are going to happen:  Naruto is going to reveal to Sasuke about the Nine-tail fox demon inside him, Itachi will show up wanting Naruto, and Sasuke, Naruto, the Sand ninjas, and Shikamaru will all fight and make Itachi and Kisame retreat.

I can't make any predictions for One Piece though.  Eiichiro Oda is a fucking genius.  I can't wait for the next chapter.

I was able to buy manga a few days ago.  Kare Kano is great as always.  Fruits Basket volumne 3 surprised me though.  In the Anime, Shigure seems like a really good person, but in the manga it looks like his manipulating Tohru to help Akito somehow.  Damn bastard.  I think I'm going to end up hating him later.

I updated my top favorite Anime list a while ago.  The ones I took off the list were just really good shounen romance that I liked.  I just realized that they really didn't belong on that list.  Juuni Kokki was able to go up and grab Gundam Seed's spot.

The GameFAQs summer contest has started, and I'm currently 7/8.  The one I predicted wrong on was Ganondorf vs. Alucard.  I picked Alucard despite knowing that Ganondorf was the higher seed.  The next one I'm probably going to lose a point on is Kefka vs. Knuckles.  I'm a fan of Final Fantasy VI, but I think Knuckles has a chance of winning against Kefka.

It looks like I have to go on vacation with my parents, so I wanted to put up some reviews before I left.  When I come back, I think I'll get started on Aishiteruze Baby or Samurai 7.
