This was a character development episode for Mimiru.  She meets a girl player named A-20.  They go to some dungeon that's supposed to very hard.  Halfway in, A-20 pisses Mimiru and she leaves.  She has a small talk with BT and Subaru.  Subaru seems concerned about Tsukasa.  Mimiru decides to go back to the Dungeon and finds A-20 still there.  They reach the treasure and Mimiru lets A-20 keep it.  At the end, Mimiru sends messages to BT and Bear telling them that she wants to talk about Tsukasa.
 

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - Not super exciting, but it's nice to know Mimiru and Subaru care about Tsukasa.  First appearance of a 'potion' type thing in the dungeon.  Fights with the monsters aren't that bad.  There's still one thing I'm worried about:  WHERE'S THE MAGIC?!

In this episode, Mimiru basically waits at a location for Tsukasa to come.  BT is being mischievous and makes an alliance with Kurim.  Kurim and her will be able to get any information they want really fast.  When Tsukasa finally shows up, Mimiru tells him that she wants to protect him.  He says she can do whatever she wants.  He leaves and she is happy. ^_^
The scene then goes to the cat and the sleeping girl.  They say something about a book falling from a high place, and that it was destroyed without Tsukasa knowing anything about it.
 

Shoju's Rating: 9/10 - Mimiru sends Tsukasa a message to meet her.  She waits for a very long time.  That act of endurance and commitment has cemented Mimiru a place in my pool of favorite characters.  A 'Tsukasa and Mimiru' shrine is now in the works... :P

BT still gathering information about the 'Key of Twilight' from Subaru and Sora.  Tsukasa is asked by some player to care for her small Kuchiguso for 3 days.  When Tsukasa goes to check on the Kuchiguso in a Kuchiguso farm house, he finds that it is sick and must get an item called 'purple cherry' to cure the Kuchiguso.  Tsukasa goes looking for it, while Mimiru is asked to get information from Sora.  Sora will only give Mimiru, and the others, an informant if he is let into the group.  Mimiru agrees and when the others find out, they aren't too happy.  Then there is a scene where BT meets Sora and they have a small talk.  Sora tells BT that Kurim is only looking for the 'Key of Twilight' with BT only because he wants to keep it from the wrong hands.  If BT finds it before Kurim, he is likely to take it from her.  BT says that Sora was of some use to her today.  Sora winks at her and the scene goes back to a teleport gate.  Mimiru appears and, a few seconds later, so does Tsukasa.  He runs to the Kuchiguso farm and doesn't see Mimiru at all.  Mimiru follows him and watches him.  Tsukasa tells the small Kuchiguso to eat the 'purple cherry,' but instead it tries to stand up and puts its head against Tsukasa's hand.  Then it dies and the player that asked Tsukasa to take care of appears in time to see it disappear.  She gets angry and Mimiru comes and defends Tsukasa.  The player ask who she is and Mimiru says he is Tsukasa's friend.  Tsukasa kind of smiles at hearing this.  He gets up and tells the player that he is sorry he didn't make it.  Tsukasa and Mimiru go sit near a cliff.  Mimiru ask why he took the job of caring for the Kuchiguso.  Tsukasa then tries to leave, but Mimiru says that he can stay longer if he wants.  He sits back down and ask himself why he had to be chosen to do it.   Mimiru puts her hand on his and he says it's warm.  He also says that the Kuchiguso was warm and that when it was healthy, it was even warmer.  He says he didn't think a small Kuchiguso could be that warm, and that it would be bad if it went away.
 

Shoju's Rating: 10/10 - Mimiru putting her hand on Tsukasa's hand was definitely the best part of the episode for me. :P

Episode opens up with Bear talking with someone.  Tsukasa shows up and sees them.  The guy leaves and Bear and Tsukasa take a little stroll.  After a small lecture, Tsukasa decides to leave.  Later, Bear meets up with Mimiru.  Mimiru tells Bear that she was supposed to meet him, but she couldn't make it.  Bear asks if the place was where he met him, and she says yes.  Bear then tells her that he met him there, and he thinks he said some things that were unnecessary.  Bear then asks a favor from Mimiru.  I got kinda lost here.  I think he was asking her if she could follow him to Tsukasa.  She says that following him would probably make things worse.  Bear asks Mimiru if there was any special reason they were meeting up, and she says that they were going to go to a dungeon.  Mimiru then suggest that Bear joins with them to create a 'party.' Bear leaves and meets up with BT.  Next, Mimiru and A-20 are fighting some monster.  They talk about Tsukasa a little, and Mimiru says that she is one of Tsukasa's friends.  Next scene, they show BT and Bear talking.  BT says something about things that can't be done in the real world, can be done in 'The World.' She says for example, someone could take on a role of a father in 'The World,' and couldn't take that role in the real world.  BT says that she is looking for Tsukasa because she thinks he is connected with the 'Key of the Twilight' somehow.  She also says she has teamed up with Kurim to look for the 'Key of the Twilight.'  The scene switches to Tsukasa in the City of Water(I think that is what the place is called.), and he wants to meet Subaru.  Kinkan, however, says that it's best he doesn't see her.  He then begs him not to meet her and leaves.  Scene switches again, this time to Kurim training.  He has a conversation with BT.  Back at the City of Water, Subaru is on her boat.  She is floating along the waterway when she sees Tsukasa on a bridge.  She gets off the boat and runs to where she saw him, but he is gone when she gets there.  Tsukasa is then shown with Mimiru.  She is telling him about time she and A-20 went on a hunt.  It goes back to Subaru, and she is talking with Bear.  Bear is telling her that he cannot face Tsukasa because he can't take responsibilities regarding him.  Subaru says that Tsukasa probably wants Bear to meet him.  Bear then goes meet Tsukasa and starts telling him about the guy he saw with him earlier in the episode.  
 

Shoju's Rating: 8/10 - This was mostly an episode for Bear's character development.  This episode would probably been the first to receive a bad review if it were not for Tsukasa's segment where he wanted to see Subaru.  In this episode, there is somewhat concrete evidence of Subaru liking Tsukasa.  When you watch the ending credits, you can see that Subaru is standing on the ball part of Tsukasa's staff.  I understand now...Uguu~  I want Tsukasa to be with Mimiru! =P

Episode 11

Episode starts off with Tsukasa running through a forest with the girl in the bed.  He stops and looks behind him.  He sees that she is now up on a tree.  She then plunges towards him and stabs him with a knife.  Tsukasa then wakes up realizing it was just a nightmare.  Scene changes to Mimiru just logging in.  Bear is waiting for her.  He says something about a promise he and Mimiru agreed to do some time later, form a party.  They then wait on a field somewhere for Tsukasa to show up.  He finally does and he explains that he can't tell time very well.  The quest they go on requires that they get 3 items with their knowledge.  BT and Sora are shown talking about Tsukasa.  Sora makes a comment that he might rush Tsukasa.  The party reaches the first place, and the statue ask about the second sabbath.  Bear answers the question and they receive a small pendant.  They go in circles a little before arriving at the second statue.  Mimiru answers the question and they receive an egg as the next item.  Sora teleports to the quest area and looks for Tsukasa.  They get to the last statue and Bear answers the question.  An egg stand is their prize.  They put the egg on the stand and a monster appears.  Bear attacks it, but can't defeat it.  Mimiru tells Tsukasa not to use his monster to defeat the monster.  Mimiru then throws the pendant towards the top of the monster's head and explodes.  They each receive a coin as a prize for defeating the monster.  Tsukasa places his coin on the belly of the girl sleeping.   There is then a sequence where two people are talking about cutting life support for someone.(Looks like it's Tsukasa.)

 

 

Shoju's Rating: 7/10 - Tsukasa kind of opens up a little and has some fun.  A mere filler episode.  Not much else.

Episode 12

Opening scene is a doctor and someone are talking about being brain dead and being a vegetable.  Scene switches to Mimiru and Tsukasa talking about what to do with a Mithril Rod.  They get into a conversation about material things Mimiru wants.  The conversation then switches to what Tsukasa does in his free time.  Mimiru then logs off.  Subaru is shown, and she tells Ginkan to notify her if someone wants to see her.  She logs off and Tsukasa is shown back at the bed of the sleeping girl.  He finds everything is wrapped with thorny vines.  The cat PC shows up and moves his hands around a bit.  Little slug-like things then appear on the vines.  Scene goes to a hospital room where a plug has been unplugged with the sound of a life-sign of a dead person in the background.  A struggle between some people occurs and Tsukasa is then shown on his knees.  Bear and BT are shown and Bear is talking about the real Tsukasa.  Scene is back on Tsukasa where a girl tells him about the story of the 'Mermaid Princess.'  The girl proposes that Tsukasa, the cat PC, and her stay there together forever.  Tsukasa doesn't want to.  The girl tries to convince him again and suddenly the slugs disappear.  BT goes to talk about the new information, she got from Bear, with Kurim.  Tsukasa is shown at the cave where he and Subaru talked.  Tsukasa hears something and leaves immediatley.  It's Subaru who has come.  When she goes back outside, after finding nothing, Kurim greets her.  Bear and Mimiru are talking when Subaru messages Bear.  He leaves and tells Mimiru to stay there.  Subaru is worried about the real Tsukasa.  Bear tells her that she should talk to Tsukasa when she gets a chance.  Tsukasa finally shows up, and Mimiru notices the scratches on his body.  Tsukasa is about to leave when Bear comes.  Mimiru ask what Subaru had to say, and the mention of Subaru stops Tsukasa.  Bear asks if Tsukasa would like to look for the 'Key of the Twilight.'  Tsukasa runs off and returns to the girl.  He tells the girl he understands the story of the 'Mermaid Princess' and the vines disappear.

 

 

Shoju's Rating: 7/10 - The slow start of Tsukasa and Subaru's relationship begins.(IMO anyway.)  Also BT being an ass is continued.

Episode 13

Subaru opens up the episode by talking to BT about the 'Key of the Twilight.'  Bear is mad at BT that she shared the information.  Bear tells her that he has decided to look for the key too.  Mimiru goes meet with Sora.  He offended when she says that he has become a servant of Helba.  Sora then tells her about the real Tsukasa.  She later complains to Bear about not telling her.  Tsukasa then remembers himself looking at a blank TV screen.  BT talks to Kurim about what Subaru thinks of the 'Key of the Twilight.'  Bear and Mimiru are talking about how to get to the Twilight Eye when Tsukasa shows up.  He says that he wants to look for the 'Key of the Twilight' too, but he wants to use it so the girl sleeping can wake up.  Kurim is shown waiting for Subaru.  She arrives and tells her about the information he knows.  Subaru tells him that she wants the 'Key of the Twilight' and Kurim tells her that he will present it to her as a gift.  Bear, Mimiru, and Tsukasa try to go meet Subaru, but she isn't at the Water City.  Bear goes off searching for information IRL.  Mimiru and Tsukasa go to their usual place and watch the scenery.  BT tells Sora that she knows where the Twilight Eye opens.  Bear is summoned to a dungeon.  There he meets with Helba.  BT tells Kurim some information.  BT gets mad when she finds out that Subaru knows about some things.  Bear tells Mimiru about what he found out.  The cat PC is mad at Tsukasa and he just leaves him and the girl.  BT then slams her staff at the ground causing the Twilight Eye to open.

 

Shoju's Rating: 9/10 - Everyone shares information and everyone finds out about the Twilight Eye.  Finally, something interesting happens that actually moves the story on a little more.

Episode 14

Sora is seen going through the Gate.  BT and Kurim arrive to the field and look around.  Bear and Mimiru talk about Tsukasa.   Tsukasa appears and scene changes.  Kurim and BT are climbing a tower.  When they get to the top, BT tells him that Sora followed them.  Kurim then starts running.  Bear tells Tsukasa where to transport them.  They arrive and Bear sees BT and Kurim.  Now, everyone is running.  BT and Kurim stop for a moment.  BT tells Kurim that she probably can't keep up with him.  Mimiru almost falls while running.  Bear saves her though.  Tsukasa then gets a bad feeling.  Tsukasa tells them he can find the 'Key of the Twilight' without their help and goes off.  Subaru asks Ginkan if anyone has asked to see her, and he lies to her that no one asked for her.  Kurim decides that he will stop Sora and BT should go ahead.  She goes off and he waits for Sora.  Sora arrives and begins to fight with Kurim.  Tsukasa's group get to a room where there is a chime and a couple of different doors.  Tsukasa picks one and they go.  Sora then explains what BT did to him and he realizes he has been lured there.  BT comes to the final door and enters.  Inside, a man is upside down in a chair.  Sora and Kurim go back to fighting, while BT has had enough.  Tsukasa's group sees her leave the room.  She tells them that they should leave before the spell on the field is over.  BT leaves and they go check out the guy.  The guy starts talking about some nonsense.  Bear tries asking him about the 'Key of the Twilight,' but he continues to talk nonsense.  Tsukasa starts thinking the guy's words are about the sleeping girl.  The group then starts running.  Everything is starting to fall apart.  Bear says that the field isn't part of the game.  They see a dead end and Bear falls.  The cat PC shows up and the monster shows up too.  The monster attacks Tsukasa and kills him.  Mimiru is shocked.

 

 

Shoju's Rating: 9/10 - Another well done episode.  Tsukasa and Bear both dieing is a good thing to see.  Music is still good IMO.

Real Tsukasa is shown as his life-signs go dead.  Bear and Mimiru fall and end up back on some other field.  Mimiru begins to worry about Tsukasa.  BT tries to open the Twilight Eye again.  Sora talks to her for a while and then kills her.  Mimiru goes back to the cave where she first met Tsukasa and remembers what happened that time.  Bear tells her she should just wait for Tsukasa to show up.  Kurim explains what happened to Subaru.  Subaru tells Kurim that she thinks that the 'Key of the Twilight' really exists.  Tsukasa's voice is heard screaming in pain and falls into a place that is red all over.  The sleeping girl is there and Tsukasa is just grabbing his chest.  He wakes up later back at the bed of the sleeping girl.  He sees the girl open her eyes and cry, but then she returns to normal.  A voice welcomes Tsukasa back home, and tells him that it will protect him along with the cat PC.  He says he doesn't want to be stuck there and goes wandering.  He gets lost, both physically and mentally.  Subaru talks with Ginkan a little.  He tells her that some of the legion doesn't think what Subaru is doing is right.  Subaru goes back to the place where the knight's had held Tsukasa captive.  There she meets Tsukasa.  Tsukasa and Subaru talk.  Tsukasa question's his existence.  Subaru puts his hand to her chest to feel her heart.  She tells him that she wants to meet him IRL.  Bear and BT are shown talking in some forest.  Bear then gets a message from Mimiru and goes to meet her.  Bear finds that Mimiru is with Subaru.  Subaru tells them of Tsukasa's state of being.  Mimiru tells them that she remembers Tsukasa saying that he found something.  Subaru returns to some city.  Bear and Mimiru go meet Tsukasa.  Mimiru tells Tsukasa that he said that he found something, but he doesn't remember.  Bear makes Mimiru drop the subject.  Tsukasa says thank you and returns the sleeping girl.

 

 

Shoju's Rating: 9/10 - Tsukasa revived.  Finds Subaru.  Doesn't understand anything.  Poor guy/girl.

BT is in some castle thinking.  Mimiru and Tsukasa talk in some church.  Mimiru wants to meet Tsukasa IRL.  Mimiru then leaves saying her mom called her.  She really wants to have an excuse to get away and meets BT.  BT lectures Mimiru a little about not bringing personal issues together with game issues.  BT leaves to go talk with Bear.  BT leaves and meets with Sora.  Sora insults her and leaves.  Bear finds Mimiru on a bridge.  Mimiru tells him of her dislike of BT.  Mimiru then goes looking for Tsukasa.  BT meets with Kurim.  BT wants to meet him IRL.  Kurim tells her that he doesn't bring the game to the outside.  BT is hurt by this.  Only Subaru is his love.  Kurim leaves to go back work.  BT then sulks some more and calls herself stupid.  BT goes to meet Subaru.  BT guesses that she wants to talk about Tsukasa.  BT continues and insults her.  Ginkan interrupts and stops her.  BT then leaves.  Ginkan tries to cheer Subaru up.  BT gets asked by two n00bs if she could accompany them to a dungeon.  She agrees, but it ends up being a trap.  BT acts cocky and gets ready for them.  The guys them see Tsukasa and run off.  BT thanks him.  Tsukasa says she was getting ready to be defeated.  She is a little surprised that he knew that.  She then asks him what it was like to die.  Tsukasa tells her, and in return she tells him something about lettuce.  Tsukasa then goes meet with Bear and Mimiru.  He tells them he met with BT.  They discuss a little about BT's name.  Scene changes to a girl reading a card(BT IRL).  She looks at some equipment and puts it on.  BT logs in and says she should continue to be 'BT' for a little while longer.

Shoju's Rating: 10/10 - BT gets dissed everywhere in this episode.  Add that Subaru was insulted, and this is the most enjoyable episode.  Only thing better would be Tsukasa and Mimiru shopping in Shimokita. =P

Mimiru and Bear leave Subaru with Ginkan.  Ginkan hasn't been nice to visitors of Subaru.  He makes up some excuse, but Subaru just leaves.  The girl sleeping says something about Tsukasa.  Tsukasa is talking with Mimiru.  He remember the time he was talking with Subaru.  He talks about what path he should take to get back to the real world.  Subaru talks with Kurim.  Kurim says that Ginkan is just showing that he cares for Subaru.  He says he will help Subaru with anything and leaves.  Sora is talking with BT about Tsukasa.  Ginkan tells Subaru about a player killer.  He wants to capture him, but Subaru explains to him that they are just players in 'The World.'  They are not the System Administrators, and therefore have no real power.  Subaru then goes off on an 'errand.'  Ginkan orders the knights to capture the player killer.  Subaru goes meet up with Bear and Mimiru.  They talk about stuff and about Tsukasa.  They agree that all they can do for now is find out more about the upside-down guy.  Subaru leaves and finds Tsukasa at the tree where they talked before.  They talk a little and Subaru gets closer to him.  When she comes back, she finds out that Ginkan had ordered to capture the player killer.  She gets a letter from the System Administrators.  Later, she goes tells Ginkan to stop what he is doing.  Subaru realizes that Ginkan and the knights have become too arrogant and disbands the Scarlet Knights.  Tsukasa is shown waiting for Subaru at the tree.

 

 

Shoju's Rating: 10/10 - Ginkan is the perfect example of what happens when you let someone with brute strength into a leadership role.  Their minds are too simple to handle such things.  IMO, he should be bitch slapped some more.  He deserves more than just seeing what he worked hard on, crumble before his eyes.
