I've been mentally drained lately.  Studying for my next Microsoft test has been a bitch.

Let's see.  I think I'll start off with the news of Ah! My Goddess's new anime show.  I'm glad they finally decided to turn it into a full fledged series.  I'll be very happy when they do Peorth's introduction.

It looks like it's confirmed that Inu Yasha will be ending in September.  Finally, Naraku can finally die...hopefully.  The only spoilers I already know about is Kohaku's fate.  I try not to read any spoilers for this series, and I hope I don't stumble upon another for the next few weeks.

In Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon, I think Mamoru is being a complete ass.  When he finds out that Usagi was the one who destroyed the planet last time, he just leaves her.  What the hell is that?  Personally, I think he completely handled the information in the wrong way.

I finished reading the latest two chapters of One Piece a few minutes ago.  Usopp did his best, but I wonder how he's going to take the news about Going Merry.  I'm afraid that the rumors of a crew member of Luffy's group leaving will turn out to be just the Going Merry and not Usopp.  It was a pretty cool scene when they found Usopp outside the Franky's House.  It would have been nice for Robin to have been included in that scene.  Hopefully she'll show up soon to help out too.

The newest pictures of Advent Children finally reveal Yuffie!  They show her parachuting down from somewhere, and you can only make out the shuriken in her hand.  I can't wait to see how her face was designed for this movie.

Free iPod here.  I believe this is the second time I have ever spammed a link in my own post.  The first time was for getting more listeners on Anime-Empire's Winamp radio station.  It seems this thing is real and I want your help.  The easiest way of doing this thing is to sign up for the eBay offer.  You need to use an e-mail provided by your own ISP, school, or anything else that isn't free (ie Yahoo, Hotmail, GMail, etc).  I believe T-shirt Hell has free e-mail addresses that's usable for eBay.  If you use a free email service, you will have to input credit card information for verification.  If you don't mind that, then that's cool.  You will need to bid on something to complete the offer though.  I just bid on something I knew would be outbid by someone else.  I got one referral as of this writing; so I only need four more.  I got nothing out of my last plea for listeners last time, and I expect no one to complete this offer to help me out.  I just thought I'd give it a try.  =P

OMFG!

I just watched the dubbed opening for One Piece, and it's done perfectly.  This information combined with the rumors of uncut dub releases of Yu-Gi-Oh and Shaman King, make me very happy.  If they dub the rest of the Anime as well as they did the opening, then I'm pretty much okay with 4Kids now.  The last little tidbit I have will be any name changes they make to the characters.

Click here to view the dubbed opening.

In other news, Naruto 90 has a new ED already!  I liked Imamade Nandomo a lot too.  >.<
Oh well.  Sakura is in a bikini in the new ED; so that makes up for the change.  ^_^

AX Fallout

Out of all my new figures, I love the Mizuho figure that came out of the Onegai Twins figure box the most.  I think it's because she looks cute with glasses.

Anyways, it's time for me to give my take on the recent Naruto license buzz.

At AX, Viz, Bandai, and Funimation were all asked about the Naruto license.  I really should of scheduled my time a bit better so I could have attended one of these panels, but I didn't.  All this information should be taken as just rumors for the time being.

Right now, no one holds the license and it won't be held by any company anytime soon.  The only confirmed companies vying for Naruto are Viz, Bandai, and Funimation.  Apparently, the bidding war between the companies is quite fierce.  Everyone knows how popular it is, and everyone is trying to get it.  Funimation said that if they did get the license, they would try to bring it on TV uncut.  I doubt Bandai, Viz, or 4Kids would do such a thing.  Needless to say, I hope Funimation gets it in the end.  They did a superb job with Fruits Basket and Kiddy Grade, and I know they would do a good job with Naruto.

Just by reading all the different reports from various forums, I would say Viz, Bandai, and Funimation are pretty much at the same level; so there won't be a clear victor in this bidding war.  Remember all this should be taken with a grain of salt.

Some site is reporting that Funimation's uncut release of Yu-Gi-Oh and Shaman King will indeed include a dub with the new uncut script.  If this is actually true, then I'm very relieved.  The only problem I have left is that they said they would be keeping the name changes in the uncut dub.

I was surprised to learn that Media Blaster has already licensed Midori no Hibi, and Funimation has licensed Bakuretsu Tenshi.

I'm still tired.  I think I'll be back to normal in a day or two.

By the reaction I got from my father, I think I could've bought another $100 of stuff from AX.  I spent about $300 at AX on the credit card this year.  My PMX pictures were pretty much all crap.  I let my cousin take most of the pictures and I hope he did better than what my friend did at AX 02.
