March 2004
Dear Friends

I bought two tickets to go see the Dear Friends Final Fantasy concert.  I just hope my friend doesn't pull out of seeing it since I bought the $120 tickets. >_>

GameFAQs looks like it's going to have a BEST. GAME. EVER. contest.  I say "looks like" because the polls begin on April 1.  Once I saw it, I thought over doing another crappy fan fiction.  In the end, I realized that I don't have the time to do such a thing as doing the whole game vs another whole game would take way too much time.  Time which I do not have because I need to study to get my MCSE from Microsoft.
Here are some of my current predictions as of right now:

Super Mario RPG vs. Street Fighter II - Even if it has the Mario name, I don't think it can win this one over.
Earthbound vs. Doom - I feel Doom is more known than Earthbound, and by name recognition
alone, I think Doom will take the win.
Final Fantasy Tactics vs DDR - If you go read one of my articles, I express much hatred for DDR.  Aside from my own personal hatred, I feel that FFT can get the win because more people come to GameFAQs for RPGs and not Bemani.
Perfect Dark vs. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night - I believe this game is horribly under-seeded and it will show when it wins.
Halo vs. Starcraft - The biggest upset victory of this tournament will be this if my prediction is true.  When I thought this match out, I couldn't help but feel a little old.  Starcraft was a very addicting game in my time and I believe the people who played the game will outnumber the new generation of people who worship X-Box/Halo.  I have much love for X-Box and Halo, but this is just a minor fanboy issue.

The first three divisions didn't cause me much headaches, but the last division gives me migraines.  Every time I look at my entry, I always think over the 128 bit section.  I believe that this is the hardest division to predict and there will be other upsets besides Halo vs. Starcraft.
I have Final Fantasy VII to win it all.

I love how the story is going with Sailor Moon Live Action series right now.  Ami-chan looks good being evil, and her sword is pretty cool.  I hear that the next story arc introduces a new Sailor Guardian.  If it's true, then I'm very happy that this series will be around 49-52 episodes.

I think I can write a review or two by Tuesday night.  I should take my first of seven test for the MCSE on Tuesday, and if I pass I will probably feel up to it.

I'm eagerly awaiting to see Undertaker's comeback.

Full Metal Alchemist 21 was a shocker.  Tucker still alive and Edward agreeing to help.  At least that's what I thought happened.  I wasn't really paying attention, but my mind processed that Edward would help if it meant Nina could come back.  I'll probably watch it over and write a review for it Tuesday.

Lastly, on March 4, I was invited to join the closed-beta of City of Heroes!  I couldn't believe my application was finally accepted.  The game kicks ass...visually anyways.  The only problem I have with it right now, is that the spawning of the mobs sucks ass.

TV-Nihon released Live Action Sailor Moon 19 two nights ago.  I was real happy to finally watch it subbed.  It's still funny to think I'm this addicted to this show.  >_>

Poor Kiba, he's not doing too well in the Naruto manga.  Sandaime's final moment is also coming up in the anime.  I think they animated his fight quite well.

I'm addicted to LUE.  I spend a lot of time there.  Damn bastards.

I'm desperately looking for ways to get into E3.  I want to go this year so bad.
I will hopefully get tickets to the Final Fantasy Concert that is a few days before it.  I think I'm going to end up going alone, but my cousin said he might be able to go.  I'm going to try to persuade another friend of mine to go, but I doubt he'll be able to get out that night.
