Shoju's Review Scale

Subject Explaination
Story

I consider how the characters make the story believable.

Animation Basically, I look for shiny hair lines.
Fan Service This is just how much panty shots, cleavage, and other perverted shots are in the anime.
Character Development For this I consider if how much a character 'grows' is believable under their circumstances.
Music The most important thing is how emotional it can get me.  There can be music that is beautiful and kickass, but they don't really move me.  .hack//Sign is a perfect example.  I pretty much judge by how great the music is compared to Flame of Recca's music.  I hold their bgms in the highest regard after the various animes I've seen.
Fights Fights should be well animated and take no longer than two episodes for one on one.  For every additional fighter add half an episode.  If fights are longer than that, the score lowers.
Ending Intellectual endings are great.  To date, Neon Genises Evangelion TV has the best ending ever.  I was laughing my ass off at the message that they didn't have time to animate Third Impact and instead showed the final character developments.  It was just brilliant.  For other endings, I look for the balance between the happy moments and the sad moments.
Overall This is not an average of the scores.  This is how I felt about the anime after I've seen everything.  Sometimes I might give a lot of high scores, but give a low score for overall.  This is because I suck at transferring feelings to words.
Notes This is extra info that I think people should know.
Misc. I leave some subjects out because the anime doesn't need that category.  Like how .hack//Sign doesn't need 'fights' to be judged because they weren't that important, or like Fruits Basket doesn't need a 'fan service' to be judged.
