Battle 01 - Link vs. AiAi
Time: 11:30 P.M. The GameFAQs
arena was filled with gamblers and spectators. Everybody was eagerly
awaiting the squash match. Zelda was watching from a skybox. She was
totally confident in her protector.
CJayC then went on the PA,
"Ladies and gentlemen. The first battle is about to begin!
First, introducing the monkey with lots of balls, AiAi!" A medium amount
applauded AiAi as the monkey entered the arena floor.
"And its opponent, last year's champion, Link!" The crowd roared with
applause. Link entered on the opposite side of the floor. He looked up at
Zelda for a moment and waved. Both AiAi and Link turned their attention to
the control room.
"For this battle, the terrain
will be Mortal Kombat II's Acid Pit stage." The arena floor changed
into the acid pit stage.
"The fight will start at midnight." The time was 11:59
P.M. The seconds ticked, and as soon as it was midnight, Link took out a
few bombs and hurled them at AiAi. AiAi dodged but an arrow came out of
nowhere and hit him in the shoulder. AiAi flew with the arrow to the stone
wall. AiAi was bleeding heavily. Link looked up at Zelda again and
bowed towards her. He then found a stone chair and sat down.
24 hours later.
"No one needs to be told, the
winner is Link!" CJayC announced.
