Battle 05 - Squall Leonhart vs. Jill Valentine

Squall and Jill were announced and came out to great applause.

"The terrain for this battle will be...Nibelheim mountain!"  The surroundings changed to inside the Nibelheim Reactor.  Squall and Jill started shooting at each other and ran sideways in opposite directions.  Both of them got behind corners and rested a bit.  Jill loaded up another magazine, and Squall began taking in the magic that was available in the area.  He could feel spells of ice and fire coming from the reactor.

Jill began sneaking around and climbing up some chains.  She could see Squall slowly walking around trying to search for her.  At the top of the chains, she found a ladder that went up.  She decided to try to take him out now.  She lined up a shot and pulled the trigger.  The first bulled missed and hit his gunblade instead.  She got off a few shots before she started climbing the ladder.  Squall hauled ass up the chain and saw Jill right at the top of the ladder.  He quickly used a fire spell and created a burst of flame that caught her off guard.  She lost her grip and fell down to the base of the ladder.  Squall casted an ice spell and encased the ladder in a block of ice.  Jill backflipped away from Squall and began shooting at him.  Squall used his gunblade to block all the shots.  Jill's last shot fired and the gun locked up.  Squall saw his chance and swung his blade.  Jill held up her gun and tried to block.  As the blade hit the gun, Squall pulled the trigger and added a tremendous force to the blow.  Jill was knocked off her feet and off the pipe scaffolding.  Squall saw knew that she was probably going to fall off and grabbed a hold of her hand just in time.

"Looks like I lost," Jill said and smiled.  Squall pulled her up and sat down.  Squall's ice spell wore off, and both of them climbed up and went outside.  They found their way to the mako fountain, where they decided to patch up their wounds and rest until the time was over.

22 hours later.

"Jill graciously accepts her defeat, and Squall is the winner!" CJayC announced.
Both of them shook hands.  Jill then raised Squall's arm up as a gesture of good sportsmanship.
